Some weddings feel a little extra special—and this one? It felt like coming home.
Ruby and Erik’s day wasn’t just beautiful—it was deeply personal for me, too. They chose to get married at the very same venue where my husband and I tied the knot, which made the entire experience feel like a full-circle moment. From walking those familiar paths again to witnessing new memories being made in the same spaces where mine were created—it was surreal, emotional, and truly unforgettable.
From Bride to Photographer
There’s something powerful about returning to a place that holds so much of your own story—but this time, holding a camera. I still remember what it felt like to stand at the altar, take that first walk down the aisle, and dance the night away under the same sky. To now photograph another couple stepping into that same chapter—it was the most meaningful kind of déjà vu.
And Ruby and Erik? Their love radiated from the very start. Their energy was calm, kind, and completely in sync. Surrounded by about 100 of their closest friends and family, the day felt intimate and heartfelt—full of laughter, happy tears, and the kind of quiet moments that linger in your memory.
